Geneva: shopping for calm

Geneva in essence not much different from many small European towns around that you can in two days, having carefully studied all the attractions and local shops a large order. True, in Geneva, the concentration of boutiques, luxury hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are not inferior to many major cities.

Speaking of size, should immediately be said that in Geneva there is no large department stores, which are famous world fashion capital and other cities, where hundreds of tourists flock to shopping. In this Swiss city filled hour boutiques and lots of Russian immigrants living there permanently or temporarily travelers, few come with the main aim to make a purchase.

Shopping for all out of town here is the fun part-time, in between business meetings, exhibitions and so on. Nevertheless, shopping, this is very enjoyable, because it is not peculiar to different cities for shopping tranquility. Filled with department stores and boutiques are only in the late spring and summer. The rest of the luxury boutiques on the street du Rhone met about a dozen visitors a day, and levels of Globus department stores or Bongenie the street march, one might say, is empty. About filling out has always been and will Cornavin Manor on the street, where some come to eat at the top level, while others buy all sorts of stuff on tights and makeup to clothing brands from the middle segment.

The famous Geneva department Globus, located between the streets and Marche du Rhone and the area attracts Molar except that the first level with makeup and a good cafe where you can sample everything from Asian cuisine to the traditional Swiss cheese and desserts. However, the area Molar is a great Italian restaurant where the lunch is difficult to find a free place, and which serves excellent pizzas, pastas and salads. In terms of the number represented brands and atmosphere in general is much nicer to shop in a department store Bongenie, located opposite the Globus and assembled at 7 levels eminent brands: Etro, Fendi, Diane von Furstenberg, Armani, Burberry, D & G, Azzedine Alaia, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Miu Miu, Moschino, Ralph Lauren and many others.

Luxurious in every sense of street-du-Rhône together for its entire length the world's best boutiques of fashion, watch and jewelry brands. Walking through it you can look into the Louis Vuitton, and Boucheron, and Celine, and Graff, and TOD's, and Chanel, and Gucci to Versace. Of course, some brands are not represented in Geneva in the form of boutiques monobrendov, apparently, until there is no pressing need. For example, Prada, YSL and Valentino shows in multibrand Drake Store (street of the Alps) and Anita Smaga (ul-du-Rhône). Speaking of the multibrand, I can not mention one of my favorite place - Septieme Etage.
